"Cabaret" by Masterson, Kander & Ebb

July 23-Aug.1, 2010

“The scene is a night club in Berlin , as the 1920's are drawing to a close. The Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience to the show and assures them that, whatever their troubles, they will forget them at the Cabaret. His songs provide wry commentary throughout the show. On the train to Berlin we find Cliff, a young American writer, and Ernst, a German who surprises Cliff by putting his briefcase among Cliff's luggage at the German border. History is in the process of being made. Musical numbers include Willkommen, Cabaret, Don't Tell Mama and Two Ladies. We find Cliff on the train again, now leaving Berlin alone. He writes about Sally and the people of Berlin leading up to the Third Reich. It has been a tumultuous and heartbreaking era.”

WHAT: The Militant Propaganda Bingo Machine
WHEN: Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 8:00pm (Door open at 7:30pm)
WHERE: Nancy's Place, 4510 Manchester Avenue at Taylor
WHY: Because you missed seeing the other half of the NonProphets and they’re back this month!

The NonProphet Theater Company returns yet again to Nancy’s Place Thursday June 24th with more of The Militant Propaganda Bingo Machine hosted by our very own Chris “Mr” Jones. Doors open at 7:30 and the show begins at 8:00pm. Tickets are $10 at the door for people 21+ only. Nancy ’s Place is located at 4510 Manchester Avenue, Saint Louis, MO, 63110. Seating is limited, so reservations are highly encouraged.

For those of you who haven't ever see our sketch show, The Militant Propaganda Bingo Machine is what made the NonProphets famous in the first place. It takes 24 original and random sketches and puts them against the backdrop of a twisted bingo game in which the audience controls the order of the show. Prizes, which we spared no expense at The Dollar Store, are won by a lucky few. Guided by Emcee Chris “Mr.” Jones, the show is a non-stop evening of break-neck comedy that leaves you with a feeling only the NonProphets can provide.

Directing the show will be veteran NonProphet, Chris “Mr” Jones, and cast members include Nicole Angeli, Aaron Orion Baker, Theresa Masters, Jack Ritchey, Adam Thenhaus, B. Weller.

Reservations & other information may be obtained by calling Managing Director Heather Tucker at: 1-636-236-4831, or by perusing our web site at www.nptco.org.
